How to use HeyREMVA
You can:
- Paste a suspicious message
- Choose a screenshot from your photo library
- Take a photograph of a letter, message or screen
HeyREMVA can detect foreign languages, provide an English translation, identify the claimed sender, highlight warning signs and suggest a safe next step.
What the risk levels mean
Low concern: Few obvious scam indicators were found.
Suspicious: There are warning signs that deserve caution.
High risk: The message contains strong scam or phishing indicators.
These are guidance levels only and do not prove whether a message is genuine or fraudulent.
Official website buttons
When HeyREMVA recognises a known organisation, it may show a button linking to that organisation’s official website. These links come from a trusted list stored by the app and are never taken from the suspicious message itself.
Important safety note
If a message asks for money, passwords, security codes, banking information or personal data, do not rely on the message itself for contact details. Use the organisation’s official app, website or a telephone number you already trust.
